FreeTEMPO 『Life』
FreeTEMPO、ラスト・アルバム『Life』にXAVIER BOYER、青柳拓次、堀込泰行ら豪華ゲスト・ヴォーカリストが集結!
心の琴線を揺らす美しいメロディーと多彩なバックボーンを感じさせる叙情的なハウス・サウンドで、シーン屈指の人気を獲得している半沢武志のソロ・プロジェクト、FreeTEMPO。昨年は曽我部恵一や冨田ラボら豪華アーティストが参加したトリビュート・アルバム『COVERS FreeTEMPO COVERED ALBUM』でも話題を呼んだ彼が、同名義によるラスト・アルバム『Life』を3月10日にリリースすることがあきらかとなった。
前作『SOUNDS』以来約2年半ぶり、通算3枚目のオリジナル・アルバムとなる本作で彼が強調しているのは〈自分を歌にした〉ということ。グザヴィエ・ボワイエ（タヒチ80）や青柳拓次（LITTLE CREATURES、KAMA AINA）、堀込泰行（キリンジ、馬の骨）、畠山美由紀（Pote of Notes）ら豊かな表現力を持つヴォーカリストたちをゲストに招き、ロックやジャズ、ソウル、R&B、AORほか、さまざまな要素をサウンドに散りばめることで、みずからの人生観を音楽で表現することに挑戦した作品に仕上がっているという。今年で10周年を迎えたFreeTEMPOが有終の美を飾るべくじっくりと時間をかけて作り上げただけに、幅広いフィールドで話題を呼ぶことは間違いなさそうだ。
FreeTEMPO名義でのオリジナル・アルバムはこれで最後になるものの、今後は半沢武志として音楽活動を続けていくことが宣言されているので、ファンはこれからの動きにも注目しよう。

H&M OPENS THE FIRST STORE IN KOREA
H&M has signed an agreement to open its first store in South Korea. The store will be located in the best business location in Myungdong in Seoul and is planned to open during the spring of 2010. The sales surface will be approximately 2,600 sqm. Negotiations are currently under way for additional store contracts in the Seoul area.
– We look forward to establishing in South Korea. We have positive experiences from our establishments in Japan, Hong Kong and China and see South Korea as a natural consecutive step. South Korea has 49 million inhabitants, of which 23 million in the Seoul area, with a great interest in fashion and purchasing power, says Rolf Eriksen, CEO at H&M.

Celebrated British fashion designer Alexander McQueen has committed suicide.
A statement from the 40-year-old fashion icon's press office confirmed his death today: 'On behalf of Lee McQueen's family, Alexander McQueen today announces the tragic news that Lee McQueen, the founder and designer of the Alexander McQueen brand has been found dead at his home.
'At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family.'
The statement continues: 'Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this.'
His death comes just days after his mother Joyce died, and shortly before he would show his latest collection at Paris Fashion Week.

The last message on his account was: "im here with my girl annie tinkerbell wishing kerry the slag, happy birthday in NY, your 40 now girl time to slow it down we think."
